3 Position Ram You get 3 different levels of ramp on this trainer – 15, 20 and 25 degrees, which is a pretty good way to crosstrain different muscle groups in your lower body. However the drawback is that the ramp is manual. This means you can’t change it from the console. You have to get off the trainer to change it mid-workout, which is a pain in my opinion.

Nice-Sized Console The console on this trainer is a good size and backlit, meaning it’s easy to read. I also like the fact that there’s a dot-matrix display of your workout exertion. Plus with only a few different buttons, this console doesn’t take a PhD to figure out. You can work it pretty easily. There’s easy stop-start buttons and everything you need to get on and go.

Good Quality it’s obvious that this elliptical is made with high quality parts. There’s almost no plastic on it and the console buttons are very high quality. So I can see what people say about Precor quality construction. It does seem to be true.
