Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 22, 2026

Second Chance Cardio Equipment LLC respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect:

  • Contact and request information: Your name, email address, phone number, mailing or delivery address, facility information, and information included in consultation, service, or contact requests.
  • Order and transaction information: Products purchased, order history, delivery information, warranty information, and related transaction details.
  • Payment information: Payments are processed securely by Shopify and authorized payment providers. We do not store or have access to your full payment-card information.
  • Communications: Emails, calls, support requests, consultation details, and messages exchanged with our team.
  • SMS consent records: The phone number provided, SMS checkbox selection, form submission date and time, and source page, where recorded by our systems.
  • Usage and device information: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages visited, and interactions with our website.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: Information collected through cookies, analytics tools, and similar technologies used to operate and improve the website.

2. How We Use Your Information

We may use personal information to:

  • Process and fulfill orders.
  • Provide delivery, installation, warranty, repair, and customer-support services.
  • Respond to inquiries and consultation requests.
  • Provide requested phone or email follow-up.
  • Coordinate appointments and service requests.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website and services.
  • Detect fraud, misuse, or security threats.
  • Maintain business and transaction records.
  • Comply with applicable laws and lawful requests.
  • Send email marketing communications when permitted and allow recipients to unsubscribe.

3. SMS Communications and Mobile Information

A phone number is optional on our consultation form. Providing a phone number alone does not enroll a user in SMS messaging or constitute SMS consent.

SMS consent is collected only through the separate, optional, unchecked SMS checkbox on our publicly accessible online consultation form. Users can submit the form without selecting the SMS checkbox. We do not collect SMS consent through verbal agreements or advertised inbound keywords.

Users who voluntarily select the checkbox may receive one-to-one customer-care text messages directly related to their submitted consultation or support request. Messages may include acknowledgment of the request, necessary clarification questions, answers to customer-care questions, appointment coordination or confirmation, and assistance required to resolve the same request.

This SMS program does not send advertising, promotions, coupons, unsolicited sales messages, inventory broadcasts, general quote campaigns, order notifications, delivery alerts, or unrelated recurring communications.

Message frequency varies based on the assistance requested. Message and data rates may apply. SMS consent is not a condition of purchase.

Users may reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance. Opt-out requests are processed promptly. No additional SMS messages will be sent after an opt-out unless the user provides new consent through the online form.

We do not sell, rent, share, or provide mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or SMS consent to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This information may only be provided to service providers that help us deliver messages or provide customer support, subject to confidentiality obligations, or when legally required. Service providers may not use this information for their own marketing.

4. Email Communications

Users may receive emails relating to submitted requests, orders, appointments, services, or other transactions. Marketing emails are sent only when permitted. Recipients may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe instructions included in those messages.

Opting out of email marketing does not prevent transactional or customer-service emails that are necessary to respond to requests or manage orders.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent personal information.

We may provide information to:

  • Shopify, payment processors, and other providers needed to operate our website and process transactions.
  • Communications and customer-support providers that help us respond to requests and deliver authorized messages.
  • Delivery, installation, repair, warranty, and service providers involved in fulfilling a customer’s request or order.
  • Website hosting, security, analytics, and technical-service providers.
  • Government authorities or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect our rights, customers, business, or property.
  • Parties involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of business assets, subject to applicable privacy requirements.

Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, and SMS consent are excluded from sharing with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to operate essential website functions, remember preferences, understand website usage, prevent fraud, and improve performance.

Users may manage cookies through their browser settings or any cookie controls provided on our website. Disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, respond to requests, maintain transaction and consent records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of certain information.
  • Withdraw consent for optional communications.
  • Opt out of SMS by replying STOP.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and Second Chance Cardio Equipment LLC is not responsible for their independent privacy practices.
